Malaysia's largest IBS plant is built by Country Garden Pacificview (CGPV), the master developer of Forest City in Johor. Forest City's IBS manufacturing plant in Gelang Patah covers approximately 160 hectares and when completed will house six factories in total, making it the largest in the world. CGPV emphasises on creating safer and sustainable construction environment in response to Malaysia’s call for a green and smart construction industry. This large-scale adoption of IBS is also aimed at substantially reducing air and noise pollution around the vast forest city construction site. CIDB Malaysia, along with Works Minister Dato' Sri Fadillah Yusof, and IRDA personnel visited the plant on Feb 27, 2018.
